  • Accelerated Degree

In fall 2004, SUNY Cobleskill instituted an accelerated degree program for local students who may wish to complete an associate's or bachelor's degree program. Through a combination of Advanced Placement (AP) classes, College/University in the High School, and coursework taken at SUNY Cobleskill, students will be able complete their degrees in a shortened time-frame and benefit from an overall decrease in college costs. Depending on the number of credits accumulated during high school and during the summer at SUNY Cobleskill, students may earn a college degree in as few as two semesters on campus.

Admission Criteria

Admission to the Accelerated Degree Program is limited to students who have demonstrated strong academic performance at the high school level. Successful applicants should have a minimum high school average of 87 or higher in an Advanced Regents Diploma and show evidence of intellectual ambition and curiosity. Honor Society members will receive special consideration.
