Small Business Workshop Series

The Small Business Workshop Series has been postponed. Stay tuned for rescheduling information.

 

The Institute for Rural Vitality is set to host a four part workshop series designed to assist small business owners and individuals interested in starting a business on a variety of topics. The series will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and will take place on the campus of SUNY Cobleskill, with a virtual option available. Each workshop will include six unique sessions and a keynote speaker during lunch, with lunch included in the workshop fee. The fee for the full workshop series is $199.99 or $99.99 per individual workshop. 

 

Business Planning 

The business planning workshop will cover topics including starting a business, continuing to grow a business, forming an LLC, branding basics, research and development, accessing capital, the importance of having documents in order, resources for business development and more.

Strategic Management 

The second workshop of the series will cover strategic management, including performance management, using technology to achieve business strategy and more.
