and the Class of 2022 is bringing all of the wonderful memories back! I wish each
of you the very best of everything. The only advice I can give you is don’t lose
your sense of humor as you face the bumps on the road of life. My best regards to
everyone!

I thoroughly enjoyed my relationship with students as Director of EOP and International
Club Advisor. Learning to appreciate those who are different from oneself is an important
lesson to hold throughout one’s life.
Dr. Joe Robustelli
One of the most rewarding experiences I had as an Early Childhood faculty member happened
when I was recognized for 25 years of service to SUNY Cobleskill. What mattered most
were the letters and emails I received from former students and advisees thanking
me for being a caring, competent teacher and mentor. Please don’t forget to thank
those faculty and staff who made your experience at Coby special.

Congratulations on making it to graduation! Always remember that you are stronger
than you think and can do anything when you apply a positive “can do” attitude. Challenge
yourself everyday to try something new and push yourself out of your comfort zone.

Attending Cobleskill was one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. A great
experience, a great education. God bless you all!
Make the most of your Coby education and your forever friends.
Barbara Powers ’63
I hope all my Coby Histotechs are doing well. I enjoy hearing from you. I can’t
believe so many of my former students have joined me in retirement.
Ann Marie Behling, Professor Emerita
Coby began my journey of who and what I am today. Without my classmates, professors,
and the beautiful setting, I would not have had the motivation to continue my academic
career. I began as a florist then went back to school and changed careers in my 40s
to become a biology teacher. My lessons at Coby are still with me today. My professors
Montario, Bruetsch, Smalley, Whitebread, Kaskeski, and many more were the best. I
cannot thank them enough for holding me accountable and allowing me to see my potential.
Coby is very dear to me and always brings a smile to my heart. Go Tigers!
Missy Coe Aitchison ’76
Remember Ag Business field studies, hanging out at “76,” volleyball in the courtyard,
Country Nights at Brickyard, milking cows at the dairy complex with the lights off.
Matt “The Boss” Staebner ’06
I was able to obtain my job with NYS Dept. of Agriculture and Markets because of my
AAS degree in Dairy Tech. I retired after 26 years as a state food inspector in 1998.
This was after I spent four years in the US Army.
Jim Grass ’63
Even after 65 years, my training is still in good use. Don’t underestimate it! Good
luck!
