The Van Wagenen Library and the Honors Program are pleased to announce the 2026 Student
Research Showcase, highlighting the breadth of applied learning across all programs
at SUNY Cobleskill. All students are invited to participate.
Presentation Categories
Entries may consist of:
- Poster presentations (Poster templates available below)
- Demonstrations (ex: cooking, livestock, poetry reading)
- Video clips (ex: internship photos, capstone project)
- Displays (ex: artwork, mounts, sculpture)
- Writing (ex: ENGL Composition papers)
Poster Templates, File Uploading, and Printing
- Four poster templates, each in three different sizes, are available for your use.
You are not required to use one of these templates, but they are here if you find
them helpful.

- If you will also be presenting at this year's Student Undergraduate Research Conference
(SURC), please use the 36x48 size template. This template matches SURC's requirments and can be used for both SURC
and the Student Learning Showcase.
- Once your poster is finalized, upload to the folder by clicking the buttom below.
Save your file as "LastnameSLS26"
- The College will print all poster materials for participants, free of charge.
- College staff will transport posters to Bouck Hall Ballroom and set them up on easels
prior to the event.
- The deadline for submitting poster materials is Monday, April 13

Consider publishing your Student Research Showcase submission in the College's Institutional Repository, which is curated by the Van Wagenen Library. Publishing your work here will build
your scholarly identity that people can find through Google, GoogleScholar or other
search engines.
You will receive a link to your published presentation that you can refer to in the
years to come.
