Wristbands

  • Each 2024 graduate is receiving an allotment of ten WRISTBANDS for their family and guests.
  • Please distribute these wristbands to your family PRIOR to the Commencement ceremony.
  • Wristbands will allow your family and guests access to PREFERRED SEATING sections for the ceremony.
  • This is to ensure that families and guests of our graduates have access to optimal seating areas as it is anticipated that members of the public will also attend this open event to hear Dr. Temple Grandin, our honorary doctorate recipient, deliver her keynote address.
  • If your party has more then ten people, those without wristbands will be allowed access so that your family/guests can sit together.

Photography

Guests may take photographs from their seats; however, in order to avoid obstructing the view of others, you are asked not to approach the stage area. SUNY Cobleskill has contracted with Grad Images, to take photographs of each graduate receiving his/her diploma from President Terenzio. Grad Images, will contact graduates via email regarding the possible purchase of these photographs. The College does not benefit financially from this arrangement; it is provided as a service to graduates and their families. You are not obligated to purchase the photographs.

Diplomas

Diplomas will not be distributed at Commencement. They will be mailed to each graduate's address submitted on graduation application upon certification by the faculty that all graduation requirements have been met.
