The College admits high school students to the Early Admissions program following
completion of the junior year. This program provides an accelerated educational opportunity
for high-achieving students.
Students admitted under this program will study full time at the college level, and
complete their freshman year at Cobleskill and their senior year in high school at
the same time.
Steps to follow for Early Admissions:
- Submit a regular State University of New York application, available in New York State
high school guidance counselor's offices.
- Submit a letter of recommendation from one teacher who could evaluate your chances
of success at SUNY Cobleskill.
- Submit a letter of support/recommendation from your high school principal/guidance
counselor.
- Submit a letter of parental permission to participate in this program.
- Submit essay outlining goals and why you will be successful at SUNY Cobleskill.
- Contact the Office of Admissions to schedule the required admissions interview.
