SUNY Cobleskill offers generous scholarship support to our students. New student scholarships are awarded by the Admissions Office as part of the admissions application process. No additional scholarship application is required. All scholarship recipients are encouraged to read the full Cobleskill Campus Scholarship Policy for answers to many of the most common scholarship questions.
SUNY Cobleskill offers both one-time scholarships as well as multi-year renewable scholarships. Listed below are the renewable scholarships currently being offered to new students attending SUNY Cobleskill in the Fall 2020 semester. The College reserves the right to limit the number of scholarships offered to students enrolling in high demand programs.
SUNY Pathways Scholars Award Program
Open to first time, full-time students who are committed to earning an Associate Degree
at SUNY Cobleskill and also plan to continue on to complete a Bachelor's degree at
SUNY Cobleskill or other SUNY institution.

Coby Premier Destination Scholarship
Annual scholarship amounts are up to $3,000, depending on intended major and high school GPA. On-campus housing is required and scholarships can be renewed for up to 4 years.
Annual scholarship amounts are up to $3,000. A High school GPA of 90 or higher is required. The scholarship can only be applied to the non-tuition expenses that are billed by the College (ie housing, meals, fees). The Honors scholarship can be renewed for up to 4 years.
Presidential FFA Scholarship
National FFA officers and statewide FFA presidents who attend SUNY Cobleskill are eligible to have all housing and meal plan charges covered in full for up to 4 years (not to exceed total billed charges).
Schoharie County Valedictorian Award
Schoharie County Valedictorians who are appointed by their local superintendent who choose to live on campus are guaranteed to have their housing and meal plan charges covered by the College for up to 4 years.
FAFSA, NYS TAP, and NYS Excelsior applications are required each year. All federal and state grant aid must be applied first and total grants and scholarships from all sources cannot exceed total billed charges. The maximum award available each year is approximately $13,800.
Coby-Wise Local Housing Grant
All graduates of Schoharie County High Schools (beginning June 2019) with a minimum 80 high school average are eligible to receive an annual housing grant of between $4,000 and $6,000 to live on campus. Local students can experience the rich rewards of an on-campus living experience at a fraction of the cost of leaving town. A completed admission application and a separate Coby-Wise Local Housing Grant application are required. The College reserves the right to limit the number of Coby-Wise Local Housing Grants that are awarded each year. Priority consideration will be given to early applicants. The Coby-Wise Local Housing Grant cannot be combined with other Cobleskill campus scholarships.
