Degree Candidates

To be eligible for admission to Cobleskill, a part-time degree candidate must graduate from a fully accredited and approved high school or qualify for a high school General Equivalency Diploma (GED). The Individualized Education Program (IEP) diploma is not the equivalent of a high school diploma.

Admissions staff will assist with application procedures.

Part-time degree students will follow the same scheduling procedures as full-time students. Scheduling for part-time students and for part-time degree students who are unable to schedule with full-time students will take place as announced by the Office of the Registrar.

The Admissions Committee will notify applicants by letter of their admissions decision on a rolling basis. Notification for fall applicants will begin on November 1.

Students will be required to complete a Wellness Center Health form prior to the beginning of their first semester.

Non-Degree Candidates

Non-degree students may be admitted to part-time study without a high school diploma. Non-degree students must, however, meet all course prerequisites and are limited to 11 credits.

To be eligible for admission as a non-degree student, a candidate must complete a SUNY Cobleskill Part-Time/Non-Degree application form. This form can be obtained from the Registrar or download the form.
